  • 1 C dark brown sugar
  • 1 C ketchup
  • 1 TBS yellow mustard
  • 1 bottle of beer 1/2 to use 1/2 to drink

  • OPTIONAL: 3 fresh jalapeno peppers

In a large pan saute' garlic and then add ground sirloin and kosher salt.

Brown sirloin and drain off fat. (At this point if you want to kick up the spice add the three sliced jalapeno peppers) Add brown sugar to pan over medium heat. Stir in until sirloin is well coated. Then add 1/2 of the soy sauce ketchup and mustard mix together blending the ingredients while cooking. Add the pinch of cinnamon. After ingredients are mixed in well add half of the ice cold beer and bring to a rapid simmer. Stir continually. Drink the other half of the beer and if need be you might want another one or even a root beer to enjoy with your Schloppppy Joes. Taste.

Remove from heat and serve over your favorite rolls. Also good over tortilla chips if you're adventurous. Some people have even been know to add crystals hot sauce once on the roll
